The children are made familiar with computers from
the age of five. As computer knowledge is very essential
in today's world the school wants its children to be
well versed in this field. It was one of the first few
schools to offer computer education to students, and
also organized the very first country wide seminar on
computer education for schools.
Apart from education the school offers the children
a wide range of extra curricular activities. KHS is
the only school, which represents Pakistan in the International
Little League Baseball Tournaments.
This school offers the children a blend of both scholastic
and extra curricular activities at school, which prepares
them for the outside world.
Founder Member and Principal, Parveen Kassim claims,
"We are a laboratory where ideas from all perspectives
are developed, tested, criticized and disseminated to
the wider world. When I succeed in communicating clearly
and grading fairly, I am not only doing my job well
as an educator, I am teaching students something about
being responsible. And my suspicion is that they will
remember my lesson long after the assignments and grades
have been forgotten. We educate our students to make
a difference to the world they live in." |
